Technical interior architect

Work Model: Remote

René Yacht Design & Intérieur is expanding its technical design team for international luxury hospitality projects.

We are looking for experienced Technical Interior Architects / Architects with a strong background in construction documentation, technical detailing, and joinery drawings for a long-term collaboration.

Please note that this is not a concept design position. The role is primarily focused on the preparation and development of detailed technical and construction drawings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of complete interior architectural construction documentation

• Development of floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, flooring plans, elevations, sections, and technical details

• Preparation of fixed furniture / joinery and bespoke fabrication drawings

• Development of detailed furniture production drawings and construction details

• Implementation of technical revisions into drawing packages

• Coordination with architectural, MEP, and other project disciplines

• Preparation and organization of technical documentation in accordance with project deadlines and drawing standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD – this is one of the key requirements for this position

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical design and construction documentation

• Ability to independently prepare joinery, fixed furniture, bespoke fabrication, and furniture production details

• Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing techniques, materials, construction methods, and connection details

• Proven ability to produce complete drawing packages including plans, RCPs, flooring plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings

• Strong knowledge of XREF management, layer systems, and reference file organization

• Excellent technical problem-solving skills

• Experience in luxury hotels, hospitality, high-end residential, or similar projects is highly preferred

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to work efficiently within a coordinated remote team environment

• Long-term collaboration preferred

• Regular online coordination meetings will be required
