In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. You won't just be tracking tasks you will own project plans, anticipate risks before they happen, and ensure transparent, straightforward communication across departments. If you thrive on turning technical ambiguity into clear, actionable plans and can speak comfortably with both a software engineer and a business leader, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities 1. Stakeholder Management & Candid Communication Cross-Departmental Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact between Engineering, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success. Candid & Clear Articulation: Communicate project status, trade-offs, and blockers with honesty, clarity, and zero fluff, ensuring both technical and non-technical stakeholders understand the "why" behind decisions. Senior Leadership Updates: Craft concise, accurate executive summaries and deliver candid status reports to senior leadership, keeping them informed without swamping them in jargon. 2. Technical Execution & Delivery Project Ownership: Build, maintain, and track detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation from kickoff through launch. Technical Understanding: Translate product requirements into actionable technical tasks alongside engineering leads, ensuring scope clarity and feasible estimates. Risk Management & Problem Solving: Actively spot dependencies, bottlenecks, and scope creep early. Facilitate quick resolution meetings to keep timelines on track. 3. Reporting & Process Optimization Status Reporting: Maintain a reliable cadence of daily/weekly status reports, dashboards, and release notes to keep all teams aligned. Agile Facilitation: Help lead and support core Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Backlog Grooming, Retrospectives). Continuous Improvement: Look for ways to streamline workflows, remove organizational friction, and sharpen team handoffs. What We Are Looking For Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience managing technical projects or software development lifecycles (SDLC) in an Agile environment. Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication. You know how to tailor your message whether you're emailing an executive, running a daily standup, or presenting to sales. Technical Grounding: Basic-to-intermediate technical fluency (e.g., understanding APIs, cloud infrastructure, web technology, or software architecture enough to ask engineers the right questions). Tooling Expertise: Proficient with project management software like Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com. Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Great at organizing messy information into clean project timelines, tracking metrics, and documenting risks. Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus, but not required (e.g., CAPM, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PMI-ACP). Experience with metrics reporting (e.g., sprint velocity, burndown charts, lead/cycle time).
