Technical Project Planner

The Role: As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible to oversee a wide variety of projects, from conceptual design through implementation. You are expected to demonstrate outstanding managerial skills with a technical background to deeply understand the artifacts of software development. You are expected to work closely with clients and technical teams to define requirements and prepare comprehensive action plans, in order to deliver results on deadlines.

The Location: Islamabad, Pakistan.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
• Coordinate with technical team to break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
• Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
• Work with the Technical Project Manager(s) to eliminate blockers.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
• Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
• Advanced proficiency in agile project development methodology and practices.
• Perfectionism: knowing how a job should be done and not stopping until it’s done correctly.
• Exceptional ability to effectively motivate and manage teams of individuals.
• Excellent remote management skills (you will be using Skype, Zoom, Google Docs, etc.).
• Monitor project progress continuously and help in making detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

Basic Qualifications: We are looking for candidates having 2 to 4 years of experience with the following skill set:

• Outstanding communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of full stack and application development is a must. The candidate must have working knowledge of backend, frontend and database. Knowledge of blockchain is strong plus.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of proven work experience as project coordinator or similar role.
• Comprehensive Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban).
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) models.
• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools is a must.
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
• Strong client-facing skills. Experience of managing clients under stressful situations.
• Should be detail-oriented, dependable, a problem.

Educational Qualifications: Masters or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering

or related discipline.
