As the Technical Sales Engineer (12 months) in Cluj-Napoca you will provide high-quality quotation and technical support to Emerson locations across Europe. This role ensures that customer requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timelines, while supporting both pre- and post-sales activities. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: · Be the customer's primary technical and commercial advisor, providing service at the highest standards and guiding them on both technical fit and commercial value · Prequalify opportunities by engaging customers directly — gathering all necessary details and aligning on requirements to submit a targeted, right-first-time offer · Liaise with sales teams, factories, and other departments to understand medium-complexity technical requirements and determine the best solution · Size and configure products according to technical and commercial requirements - specifications, application fit, documentation, testing, target lead-time, and budget — and submit accurate proposals to customers on time · Proactively follow up on submitted quotations to answer questions, resolve blockers, and improve win rates · Verify Purchase Orders (POs) to confirm alignment with the technical and commercial proposals provided Who You Are: You consistently prioritize customer needs and act with a sense of urgency to deliver quality results.
