Position Description Softdocs is looking for a technology and client-oriented professional who is passionate about software implementation and revolutionizing education, state and local government sectors. The mission of the Professional Services Team is to provide a superior client onboarding experience that builds a solid foundation for adoption of our products across their institution. Technical Solutions Consultants are a key part of the implementation project team, which delivers Softdocs' Etrieve software to new clients and provides software consulting services. Technical Solutions Consultants will own all the technical components of new deployments, such as software installation, integration connections, and data migration. Position Responsibilities Makes clients wildly successful through their onboarding to Softdocs applications Partners with Project Managers to ensure satisfactory client communication and understanding of project deliverables and deadlines Partners with Business Solution Consultants on the business-oriented processes of new deployments, sharing the technical components of new deployments with them Works across multiple projects and project teams simultaneously to anticipate and manage changes in projects Takes ownership of the technical components of new deployments Delivers a superior client onboarding experience by walking the client through any technical requirements that will be owned from the client side Ensures each client successfully achieves their desired outcomes from using our products and services by collecting information we need to provision their Etrieve environment and make it available, ready to integrate with other systems Executes data migration when a new client is transitioning from a previous imaging software to Softdocs’ Etrieve (i.e., data mapping, data translation, data imports) Technical Skills Experience with and strong knowledge of SQL Experience with and strong knowledge of PowerShell and other scripting languages Experience with and strong knowledge of identity & access management platforms; Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta, OneLogin, etc. Experience with and knowledge of API integrations and troubleshooting techniques Other Skills Experience working with software and enterprise level applications Continuous Learner – proactive in learning new features and other product platforms, displaying your curiosity along the way Collaborative – contributes to success and growth of the team and self Client Oriented – does right by the client; challenging our team to make sure we are doing right by the client Resourcefulness – takes initiative to research information before asking for assistance Detail Oriented – executes tasks in a methodical way to meet deliverables on time and anticipates risks to clients’ software implementations Analytical – strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to logically problem-solve on the fly Strong Communicator – delivers clear information and maintains consistent touchpoints with internal and external teams Creative / Innovative – thinks outside the box; inspired to put your touch on the work Challenge the Status Quo – questions how and why work is done to understand and identify opportunities to improve Work Ethic – possesses an infectious motivation to deliver work, default to get things done and work smart Role Requirements Database knowledge and migration experience Experience administering enterprise content management software (bonus if you have this!) Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technology, engineering or related field is preferred, or two or more years of equivalent work experience Base-level knowledge of managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server Base-level knowledge of PowerShell and other scripting languages Base-level knowledge of configuring, testing, and troubleshooting identity provider (IdP) integrations Base level knowledge of configuring, testing, and troubleshooting API integrations What We Offer Remote Position: 100% remote work from anywhere in the U.S. Direct Access to Leadership: You’ll have open access to our CEO and senior leaders from day one.
