Technical Specialist

Join Nokia's Broadband Access Networks team to validate and automate testing of next-generation broadband solutions. Apply your networking expertise and Python automation skills to ensure high-quality software delivery and customer success. Design and execute test cases for broadband access network products. Build and maintain test environments for functional and regression testing. Validate Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking features and protocols. Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive issue resolution. Develop and enhance automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework. Execute performance and traffic validation using industry test tools. Collaborate with development teams to improve product quality. Support delivery milestones in a fast-paced and agile environment. You Have: Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering stream with 7 plus years of experience in L2, L3 Datacom / Protocol testing (e.g., VLAN, xSTP, IGMP, ARP, 802.1x, QoS, DHCP, PPPoE, IPV6). Proficient in test automation using Python and manual testing practices. Hands-on experience with traffic generators like Spirent, IXIA, or PCTA. Skilled in analyzing, reproducing, and resolving complex system-level issues. It would be nice if you also had: Prior work experience in any of Fiber / EPON / GPON / IPDSLAM / FTTH product lines will be added advantage Automation with Python will be desirable along with good debugging skills.
