Technical runbooks, SOPs, Confluence knowledge base, Docs-as-Code pipelines.

Position Overview

The Technical Writer / Runbook Specialist authors, structures, and maintains technical

documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational runbooks for cloud

platform teams.

Key Responsibilities

● Runbook & SOP Creation: Author detailed operational runbooks, SOPs, and

architecture decision logs.

● Enablement Material: Create technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base

articles for operational personnel.

● Docs-as-Code Pipeline: Implement Docs-as-Code workflows using Git, Markdown,

AsciiDoc, and MkDocs within CI/CD pipelines.

● Diagramming & Formatting: Produce technical architecture diagrams (Draw.io,

Mermaid).

Technical Qualifications & Skills

● Must Have:

○ 3+ years in technical writing for complex software or cloud infrastructure projects.

○ Mastery of documentation publishing tools (Confluence, AsciiDoc, Markdown, MkDocs).

○ Conceptual understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native technology.

○ Experience with Docs-as-Code methods and Git workflows.

○ Proficiency in technical diagramming tools (Draw.io, Mermaid).
