As a claims technician, you prepare estimates for claims settlements. You estimate damages and ensure that quotes from providers comply with the organization’s standards and processes. You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technically complex problems and recommend ways that partners can improve. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to: Estimate damages and review provider estimates and quotes. Recommend repair strategies to optimize interventions based on the organization’s procedures and quality standards Support claims advisors and answer questions about damages. Make claims settlement recommendations Audit claims and follow up on corrections to assess the quality of work completed by providers.
