Technician Travel Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Technician Travel Care Specialist to join the corporate team. The Technician Travel Care Specialist is responsible for completing centralized operational tasks supporting Technician travel. The Technician Care Specialist ensures Technician and Client satisfaction by ensuring positive travel experiences. Duties & Responsibilities: Monitor the travel alias and the ATS for new requests. Shows a sense of urgency and a communication with a high level of customer service. Responds to all messages from Technician within 2 business hours. Increase Technician and Client Satisfaction through positive travel experiences and outstanding communication. Follow processes and monitor operational risks in managing travel arrangements. Work with approval vendors on sourcing requests for hotels for new sites. Book travel for Technicians, including lodging, flights and rental cars. Update reservations for time off, end of assignments, and hotel moves. Troubleshoot hotel, flight, or rental issues and assist in timely resolution of all issues. Assist the Technician Care Manager on booking travel for Labor Dispute projects. Build relationships with external vendors to obtain the best lodging option based on availability and budget. Provide back-up coverage for Technician Care functions, including issue resolution, training issuance, and Rapid Card issuance. Conduct audits of existing travel reservations. Utilize company mandated tools for texting and calls. Professional demeanor for all Technician, Vendor, and Internal facing conversations/meetings. Quick adaptation to high priority tasks and projects, as directed by your Leader. Participate in positive interdepartmental collaboration. Enthusiastic and engaged attitude in department meetings and collaborative conversations. Monthly professional development training. All other duties as assigned. Requirements 3+ years customer service experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong multi-tasking abilities and willingness to learn new tools, technology, and software. Growth mindset. Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite of products. Comfortable working remotely, including on-camera in a Team meeting environment. Preferred Skills & Experience: Previous with corporate travel arrangements is a plus.
