Job description As a Technician/Driver, you will have an essential role within the company. You will be responsible for diagnosing hardware and software issues, processing work orders according to warranty and non-warranty guidelines, repairing devices, and assuring quality service at our workshop. We are looking for someone personable, timely, and easy to work with. In this hybrid role, you’ll diagnose and repair devices at our in-shop facility and handle the safe and timely transport of client devices. You will be working directly with our clients, so while we are flexible with the dress code, a professional appearance is still needed. Other qualifications include: Job Duties: In-Shop (Repair Technician): Diagnose hardware and software issues in laptops, desktops, and related equipment Repair or replace defective components (screens, system boards, housings, etc.) Resolve software-related issues (OS errors, application conflicts, etc.) Accurately document all repair activity, including replaced parts Follow warranty guidelines and compliance procedures Conduct final testing and quality control before returning devices Driving & Delivery: Ensure safe, prompt pick-up and delivery of client devices Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with school staff and clients Handle devices with care during loading, unloading, and transit Represent Cell Tech Inc. in a professional and positive manner during client interactions Benefits Career Growth: As an authorized service provider of Lenovo, Cell Tech employees complete Lenovo training and certification courses. Qualifications As a Driver/Technician, your work embodies the company’s objective of supporting educators. We are looking for someone eager, prompt, and meticulous. Successful candidates are those who focus on efficiency and accuracy. Other qualifications include: Minimum 18 years of age Experience in repairing PC & Laptop Legal right to work in the US Clean driving record No DUI convictions within the past four year No more than one moving violation AND/OR fault accident in the last three years Ability to lift over 50 lbs Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday 8AM - 4PM Weekends as needed Pay : 18-22$ per hour Work Location: In person, with a reliable commute or intent to relocate to Dulles, VA 20166 before the start date (preferred). Note: “Prior driving experience in the DC area preferred.”
