TechOps Engineer III

The Group has also established an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) facility in Gurugram to provide comprehensive avionics maintenance and repair services to Indian airlines and support the growth of the local aviation industry. We are seeking an experienced TechOps III professional to join our Technology Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, performance, and security of production systems. You will lead complex operational initiatives, automate infrastructure and operational processes, troubleshoot critical production issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform stability and scalability. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, monitoring, incident management, and DevOps practices, with the ability to mentor junior team members and drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage and support mission-critical production environments with high availability and reliability. Monitor application, infrastructure, and platform health using enterprise monitoring tools. Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA). Develop automation scripts and workflows to reduce manual operational tasks. Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management best practices. Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Product teams to improve deployment processes and operational readiness. Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response during critical outages. Drive continuous improvements in system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. Maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity processes. Ensure systems comply with security, governance, and compliance standards. Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures. Mentor junior TechOps engineers and provide technical leadership during complex initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in Technology Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps. Strong experience administering Linux and/or Windows servers. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK. Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments. Knowledge of SRE principles and operational excellence practices. Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Kubernetes or container platform certifications. ITIL Foundation or equivalent operational certification. Experience supporting SaaS or large-scale distributed systems.
