Telemarketing Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, professional, and results-driven Telemarketing Specialist/Appointment Setter to join our growing wealth management firm. In this role, you will contact individuals who have expressed interest in our services, build rapport, answer basic questions, and encourage qualified leads to schedule a consultation with one of our financial advisors. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a polished and professional phone presence, and a proven background in outbound calling, appointment setting, or phone-based sales. This position requires someone who is confident engaging with prospective clients while delivering an exceptional customer experience. We have been in business since 2007 and specialize in retirement planning, investment management and business planning to high-net-worth clients and business owners. Job Responsibilities Contact prospective individuals who have responded to our marketing initiatives to confirm attendance or schedule qualified appointments with financial advisors. Follow approved call scripts while adapting naturally to each conversation. Accurately document call outcomes, appointments, and client interactions in the CRM system. Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to support successful seminar attendance and lead conversion. Job Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in telemarketing, outbound sales, appointment setting, or a high-volume call center environment. Proven success with outbound calling, objection handling, upselling, or consultative phone sales, highly preferred Excellent English proficiency with outstanding verbal communication and active listening skills. Confident, professional, and persuasive phone presence with strong relationship-building abilities. Experience using GoHighLevel and maintaining accurate call records. Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time (CT).
