Telephone Premium Audit Consultant

Acuity is seeking a Telephone Premium Audit Consultant (Telephone Premium Review Consultant) to review and complete telephone premium audits to accurately summarize exposures for workers' compensation, general liability, and commercial auto policies. The telephone consultant will answer premium audit related questions from underwriters, agents, and customers. This role will review and resolve premium audit disputes. Internal Deadline to Apply: Tuesday, September 15th ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Complete telephone premium audits by updating the audit worksheets, determining the proper classification(s), and developing the correct exposure. Review and resolve premium audit disputes. Complete and approve audit revisions within authority limits. Plan workload in an efficient, productive manner while keeping current with assignments. Serve as the secondary company contact for underwriters, agents, and customers regarding premium audit questions and disputes received through the premium audit phone queue. Continue to develop auditing skills by participating in premium audit meetings, educational webinars, and other training opportunities. Regular and predictable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or direct experience in premium audit. EXPERIENCE: Three years telephone premium audit or equivalent experience conducting premium audits. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledgeable in the areas of workers’ compensation and general liability manual rules. Time management and organizational skills; including the ability to meet and maintain department quality, time service, and productivity standards. Must provide world class customer service with excellent communication through verbal telephone and written email correspondence. Conflict resolution skills. Problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrate the ability to work well in a team. Exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external customers and assigned tasks while striving to reach departmental and company goals. Exhibit proficiency using PC programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as other general PC knowledge. Fluent Spanish speaking abilities helpful. This is a remote position, but will have an onsite requirement of 2x a year. *Acuity does not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization.* This job is classified as exempt. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
