Department Overview The Human Resources department at Children's partners with the employees and the managerial staff to provide services such as recruitment and staffing, employee services (benefit, compensation, retirement, and payroll processing), labor relations, HRIS program development and implementation, and organizational development . Position Summary This temporary employee position is approved through 12/31/26 and will ideally start around 8/24/26. The Contingent Workforce Specialist is a hybrid role designed to support the unique staffing ecosystem of our healthcare facility. This role is the primary lead for a high-volume req load of org-wide contingent workforce needs, ensuring pre-boarding requirements for all staffing agency individuals, independent contractors, and interns are met with 100% accuracy in accordance with legal agreements and Children’s policies. Simultaneously, this role is responsible for the recruitment and pre-boarding of temporary Children's employees, ensuring every candidate is "cleared to start" through a rigorous clinical pre-boarding process. The Contingent Workforce Specialist will assist with a variety of key components of the Talent Acquisition function to support bringing on top talent. This role is the subject matter expert on contingent workforce processes, acting as a help chain and providing guidance to leaders and agencies. This role will support hiring leaders’ supplemental staffing and temporary Children’s employee hiring needs by assisting with key components of the recruitment process, including but not limited to: collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as hiring leaders, EHS, CPDP, and legal; fostering external partnerships with agencies and vendors; creating position #'s for contingent workers in our HR Information System and employee requisitions to be entered into the ATS, screening resumes, phone interviewing, presenting offers, and processing pre-boarding requirements. This role is remote and the team occasionally goes on-site for meetings, projects, and events, as necessary. This role reports to the HR Compliance Advisor. Qualifications : * 2 years directly related recruitment/HR experience. * Bachelors degree in HR or related field or equivalent work experience. In lieu of degree, 3 years of directly related recruitment/HR experience. * General knowledge of HR employment laws. * Proven ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume of requisitions/projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment without sacrificing quality or compliance. * Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. * Effective problem solving, process improvement, and troubleshooting skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communicator. * Demonstrated ability to think critically and act independently in order to balance and evaluate processes to impact change. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
