Join us, grow with us, and together, let's shape the future of biological discovery. ‎ About the opportunity As a Tender Specialist US, you play a critical role in supporting the end-to-end management of public sector bidding and tender activities across the United States. Working closely with Sales, Commercial Contracts, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders, you ensure tender opportunities are effectively qualified, accurately prepared, and submitted in compliance with government procurement requirements and deadlines. Supporting QIAGEN's Commercial Excellence organization, you contribute to business growth by managing government solicitation processes, maintaining bidding eligibility through vendor registrations and certifications, and driving operational excellence across tender-related activities. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, stakeholder management skills, process discipline, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while supporting US Eastern Time business operations. Your tasks include Managing the full lifecycle of US public sector tenders, from opportunity identification and bid qualification through submission, evaluation support, award administration, and post-award coordination. Preparing, reviewing, and submitting compliant tender responses while ensuring accuracy, completeness, adherence to solicitation requirements, and timely delivery of all supporting documentation. Monitoring government procurement portals and solicitation channels, maintaining vendor registrations, certifications, and annual renewals to ensure uninterrupted eligibility for participation in public sector opportunities. Coordinating with Sales, Commercial Contracts, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather required information, align pricing and contract requirements, and drive successful tender execution. Maintaining accurate tender-related records, documentation, and transactional data in Salesforce and other business systems to support reporting, compliance, audit readiness, and operational visibility. Identifying, assessing, and escalating operational, compliance, or submission risks while recommending appropriate mitigation actions to support successful outcomes. Driving continuous improvement by developing standard operating procedures, supporting onboarding and knowledge sharing activities, and providing tender insights and performance metrics through stakeholder reviews and business reporting. Your profile Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may also be considered. Minimum 2 years of experience in bid coordination, tender management, sales operations, contract administration, customer operations, or a similar deadline-driven business support function. Experience supporting public sector procurement processes, government contracting activities, and procurement portals such as SAM.gov is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy, organization, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce.com, SAP, Adobe Acrobat, or comparable business systems is preferred. Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with US-based stakeholders and confidently challenge incomplete or unclear information in a constructive manner. Self-motivated and collaborative professional with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently under the guidance of a remote manager and partnering effectively across cross-functional teams.
