Test Analyst / QA Tester – Hybrid – Warwick - UK

(Tech stack: SQL, Postman/Bruno, QA, Tester, Test Analyst, API Testing, Selenium, Playwright, Jira, Azure DevOps)

Are you a sharp QA Tester with strong manual testing skills and experience using SQL and Postman/Bruno?

Our client is looking for a proactive Tester who enjoys problem-solving, exploratory testing and delivering high-quality software in a collaborative remote environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level QA Engineer / Tester to join a growing team where quality is genuinely valued.

What you’ll be doing

• Creating and executing test plans, test cases and test scenarios
• Performing API testing using Postman/Bruno
• Using SQL for backend and data validation testing
• Carrying out regression, smoke and exploratory testing
• Working closely with developers, business stakeholders and other QA professionals
• Supporting continuous improvement across testing processes

Skills we’re looking for

• Strong manual QA and testing experience
• Experience writing SQL queries including joins and data validation
• Hands-on API testing experience using Postman/Bruno
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Agile environment experience

Experience with Selenium, Playwright or automation frameworks would be a bonus.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Tester who cares about software quality, enjoys investigating issues and wants to grow their QA career in a supportive team.

Location: Hybrid – UK (3 times a year in the office in Warwick)

Salary: Up to £40K + Benefits
