Test Engineer

Overview Location: Poland | Remote The Test Engineer is responsible for writing code/scripts, identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests, and contributing to automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and products. The Test Engineer designs test plans, procedures, and code/scripts to accurately assess new products and updates in accordance with product requirements and department quality standards. This role collaborates with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and software modifications, while contributing to the establishment and use of the build pipeline. Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do Develop and maintain moderately complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests, contributing to automated test frameworks to ensure the holistic quality of the software. Lead the verification of system functionality by executing moderately complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and providing recommendations; record test outcomes and report defects in the test repository. Contribute to the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation, test environments, and security. Perform manual testing responsibilities, including the creation of test cases and test plans, and follow the peer code review process for test automation code. Verify performance and scalability of the system, actively participating in planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews. Provide troubleshooting support for moderately complex production issues or software issues to ensure application stability. Role Essentials BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, with knowledge of all phases of the test lifecycle. 4+ years of experience with Playwright and TS Experience with test automation, continuous integration tools, and test design, including scripting tools and source control systems. Demonstrated experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, and programming or scripting on Windows/Linux platforms. Knowledge of software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworks, including regression testing and Agile frameworks. Good oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact. What We'd Like to See Experience with database technology and working knowledge of documenting standards, practice guidelines, and/or standards. Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use original thinking to translate goals into new ideas and design solutions. Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with strong attention to detail. Driven to learn and stay current professionally, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
