Eurofins is developing an eLIMS-NG product (Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System, the Next Generation), a comprehensive and integrated suite of tools and applications to support testing business in our laboratories worldwide. The main objective of this position is to plan, design, develop and execute the test suite to identify major defects early during the STLC and develop automation scripts where required to bring maximum ROI. POSITION & OBJECTIVES: Develop test automation scripts using C#, Selenium, Protractor Assist with enhancing the automation test framework by supporting a continuous integration environment with an automated smoke and regression test suite. Participate in the refinement of user requirements associated with new product features and updates to existing product features by providing testing-related input. Document test cases which will be used throughout the testing life cycle: end-to-end, sanity testing and regression testing. Participate in reviews of test case design, test case coverage and script design with project stakeholders. Engage with Product owner and functional analyst to clarify the requirements and strengthen the test suite. Identify gaps in test coverage. Perform root cause analysis of escape defects and write test scenarios to fill the gap. Must have knowledge on Web API testing (say using Postman or any API tools) Must have SQL skills to write join and sub queries to validate the test results using the underlying database. Execute, monitor, and analyze test results by aligning test case coverage to organization metrics. Track, manage and resolve defects using TFS. Coordinate issue resolution as required with broader team of QA, Developers and Product Management Carry out functional testing where automation is not possible. Agile/Scrum method of development. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BE/MCA or equivalent degree/experience. Technical Knowledge 2 to 4 years of experience in manual testing Experience in testing API/web services using any API tools (e.g. Postman). Experience in test case design using various testing techniques. Good knowledge of SQL Good to have: Exposure to have automation testing knowledge and processes using automation scripts using C#, Selenium, Protractor Personal Qualities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
