Test Engineer – Migration Testing

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer with strong expertise in test strategy, test planning, end-to-end testing, and migration testing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define test strategies, test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Manage end-to-end testing activities across the project lifecycle.
• Plan and execute migration testing, including data validation and reconciliation.
• Assess testing risks and define appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Manage defects from identification through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Business Users, Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders.
• Align stakeholders on testing scope, priorities, risks, and outcomes.
• Monitor test progress and provide clear status reporting.
• Support go-live and post-migration validation.
• Drive quality initiatives and promote structured testing practices.
• Ensure migrated data and system functionality are complete, accurate, and fit for purpose.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong experience as a Test Engineer / QA Engineer.
• Extensive experience supporting system migration and transition projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with business, product, and development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to take ownership of testing activities from strategy through go-live.
