Contract: 9-Month Initial Contract

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager / Test Lead to lead the Test Assurance function on a large-scale transformation programme within the Financial Services sector. You will be responsible for defining the overall testing strategy, providing governance across multiple workstreams, and ensuring high-quality delivery throughout the programme lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall Test Strategy and Assurance Plan
• Lead test planning and approach during the discovery phase
• Develop and maintain integrated test plans
• Manage the end-to-end test lifecycle across multiple workstreams
• Provide governance, reporting and executive-level status updates
• Coordinate testing resources, risks, dependencies and issue resolution
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, test cases and defects
• Drive milestone readiness, quality assurance and release sign-off
• Promote continuous improvement across the testing function
  
  

Required Experience

• 10+ years' experience in Test Management or Test Leadership roles
• Strong Financial Services background
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes
• Proven executive stakeholder management skills
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and/or JIRA
• Expertise in test governance, defect management and reporting
• Experience managing third-party vendors and delivery partners
