Test Manager

Test automation – Java/Spring Boot/Angular/Selenium

Project:

Our client is looking for an experienced test automation engineer with extensive experience in both programming and test automation.

Responsibilities:

* Specification and implementation of automated tests in the Java environment

* Integration into the development pipeline, including automated reporting

* Debugging

* Documentation in Confluence and Jira

* Reporting of bugs in Jira

* Support in the implementation of automated security tests as well as load and performance tests

* Participation in Scrum meetings

* Collaboration/consultation with the Product Owner and development team

* Support in the development of user stories as needed

* Technologies: Java Spring Boot, Angular, JUnit, TestNG, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Selenium, K6, Grafana, jmeter, Jira, Confluence, ZAP Scans, PI Tests (Mutation Testing)

Requirements:

* 3 years of experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into the development pipeline.

* 3 years of experience in backend test automation (API/command line). * 3

years of experience with Java Spring/Spring Boot. *

3 years of experience in GUI test automation with Selenium/Selenide

. * 3 years of experience implementing projects in agile environments (Scrum and SAFe).

* 2 years of experience with Jira and Confluence.

* Excellent German and English skills.

* Willingness to undergo a personal security clearance (PSP). (Existing PSP is an advantage.)

Role: Test Automation Engineer – Java/Spring Boot/Angular/Selenium

Location: Bern and surrounding area (2 days on-site, remote work only from within Switzerland)

Workload : 80-100% Start Date: September 21, 2026 End Date: December 31, 2027
