We are seeking a highly skilled Test Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bioggio, Switzerland. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software to the client. Your key tasks Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software applications Proactively propose and adopt best practices and methodologies for test, including harnessing AI Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects Analyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders Conduct performance testing and identify areas for optimization Work closely with project manager, development teams and other stakeholders to manage risks and issues Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability Support test environments issues to ensure testing can be completed on time (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness) Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies Adhere closely to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts Support and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures University degree in Computer Science, or similar Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience within the banking/financial services industry, especially in testing function In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English with an emphasis on client service and presentation Must be an excellent team player and willing to share knowledge as well ad high level of stress management ability Working knowledge of QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving competences Team player and strong client-orientation Ability to work in a highly challenging, fast-paced and complex environment Experience with Avaloq banking system solution is a bonus We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
