About the role: As a Testing intern you will provide support to personnel within the organization in carrying out work in the Inspection and Testing Program department. This is a 25 hours per week paid internship, with a total duration of 6 months, starting in September. You will report to the Inspection and Life Management Engineering Lead and be located at our HQ in Madrid. This is a hybrid position. You will be eligible to receive course credit. Main Responsibilities: Structural integrity assessments of components using finite element analysis (FEA). Apply regulatory codes and standards to develop inspection programs. Analyze operating experience for its application in nuclear power plants. Failure analysis of components to identify the degradation mechanisms that led to the failure. Use predictive tools to assess wear caused by flow-accelerated corrosion (FAC) in piping systems. Prepare documentation for software applications. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Physics. We value C1; a minimum English level is B2. Knowledge of materials science, structural analysis, finite element codes, or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
