Role Description This is a hybrid Tourism Blogger role located in the Greater Perth Area, with flexibility for some work from home. The Tourism Blogger will research and visit local and international destinations, creating engaging blog posts, guides, and itineraries tailored to different traveler profiles. Day-to-day tasks include planning content calendars, conducting interviews with tourism providers, gathering on-the-ground insights, and producing SEO-friendly web content. The role involves collaborating with marketing and social media teams to promote published articles, optimizing content performance, and maintaining brand voice consistency across channels. This position also includes monitoring travel trends, attending relevant events when needed, and upholding ethical and inclusive travel storytelling.
Qualifications

• Strong writing and web content writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and SEO-aware travel content.
• Experience as a blogger or content creator, including maintaining a blog or portfolio of published articles.
• Research skills to gather accurate information about destinations, travel logistics, and local culture.
• Basic marketing knowledge, including understanding of audience engagement, social media promotion, and content performance metrics.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in the Greater Perth Area, including local travel and remote work.
• Excellent organizational skills, with capacity to manage deadlines and a content calendar.
• Comfort with digital tools such as content management systems, basic image editing, and analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, respect for local communities, and interest in sustainable and responsible tourism.
• Relevant education or experience in communications, journalism, tourism, media, or a related field is beneficial.
