The Office of One Stop Student Services at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) invites applications and nominations for our Training and Service Coordinator position. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This is an on-campus position with some hybrid/remote work schedule flexibility. The Training & Service Coordinator is a key member of the One Stop Student Services team, tasked with enhancing the quality, consistency, and efficiency of services provided across our four offices of support (Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid & Scholarships, University Registrar, and University Bursar). This role focuses on implementing quality assurance processes, monitoring service trends, and creating a robust training infrastructure for new and existing counselors. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that One Stop meets its mission of delivering seamless, student-centered support while maintaining the highest standards of service. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree • Minimum of three years of experience in customer service, quality assurance, or a related field. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and process improvement methodologies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking and training facilitation. • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations. • Proficiency in developing training programs and online learning modules. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and departments. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Education and Experience: Experience in a higher education setting or a One Stop Office. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Familiarity with higher education administration, especially in enrollment services. • Knowledge of the University of Tennessee systems and policies. • Experience in managing case studies and strategic student engagement. • Background in instructional design or e-learning development.
