Training Strategist

Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC , a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Training Stragetist to support the design, delivery, and sustainment of training programs that enable CDC and public health users to adopt, operationalize, and optimize advanced AI, data, and decision‑support capabilities. This role focuses on developing learner‑centered training content, coordinating delivery, evaluating effectiveness, and supporting continuous improvement of training ecosystems across the DMAC environment. This position collaborates closely with technical teams, program leadership, data/AI teams, and public health stakeholders to ensure training is accurate, accessible, and aligned with mission objectives. Responsibilities Develop and Deliver AI Training Solutions: Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning experiences focused on AI/ML, data engineering, analytics, and cloud-based technologies, creating instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training tailored to diverse user needs. Assess Learning Needs and Shape Enterprise Training Strategy: Conduct training needs assessments, stakeholder interviews, and task analyses to identify skill gaps, define learning outcomes, and recommend training pathways and delivery methods aligned with organizational objectives. Partner with Clients and Technical Teams: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and cross-functional engineering teams, translating complex technical concepts into practical learning solutions while providing strategic guidance, training support, and user-focused educational resources. Manage Training Projects and Knowledge Resources: Plan, coordinate, and monitor training initiatives by managing project schedules, mitigating risks, maintaining documentation and knowledge repositories, and ensuring training deliverables align with program standards. Facilitate User Enablement and Adoption: Lead live training sessions, workshops, and hands-on exercises while supporting end users through structured learning events, help channels, and ongoing enablement activities to drive adoption and proficiency. Measure Training Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate training outcomes using assessments, surveys, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve learning programs and ensure alignment with organizational training best practices. Qualifications 8+ years of experience developing and delivering technical training, instructional design, adult learning, or workforce enablement programs Experience with designing and delivering instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning solutions for technical audiences Experience with developing training content for AI/ML, data analytics, cloud technologies, software platforms, or other emerging technologies Experience with conducting training needs assessments, stakeholder interviews, and translating business or technical requirements into learning solutions Experience with partnering with technical subject matter experts, engineers, or cross-functional teams to simplify complex concepts into user-friendly training materials Experience with presenting to clients, facilitating workshops, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences Experience with managing multiple training initiatives, project timelines, and competing priorities in a client-facing environment Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or client-required suitability determination Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting federal, public health, healthcare, biomedical, or scientific organizations Experience with AI adoption, generative AI enablement, data literacy, or digital transformation initiatives Experience with developing scenario-based, role-based, or competency-driven learning programs Experience with multimedia authoring tools, eLearning platforms, or learning management systems (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, Moodle) Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, data engineering, analytics workflows, cloud platforms, or vector search/RAG technologies Knowledge of data governance, responsible AI, security, accessibility, or regulatory compliance requirements Experience evaluating training effectiveness using learner assessments, feedback, adoption metrics, or performance data Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
