We are seeking a detailed and motivated Travel Associate to join our team in a dynamic and prestigious industry where every day brings new opportunities to create unforgettable journeys. Job Summary The Travel Associate role is a full-time, hybrid/on-site position that operates within a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a crucial member of our support team, you will work closely with seasoned travel advisors to deliver top-notch service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our travel advisory services while gaining valuable experience in the travel industry. Salary Range : $50k plus quarterly bonus Responsibilities ● Sales invoicing ● Create detailed itineraries to present to clients ● Track and report sales ● Destination research ● Assist with cruise, hotel, and tour bookings ● Review and prepare final travel documents ● Travel insurance quotes and confirmation for clients ● Review and monitor bookings to ensure seamless itineraries ● Assist clients when Lead Advisor is out of the office Required Skills ● Strong attention to detail ● Organization & time-management skills ● Comfortable taking on a variety of tasks at once ● Strong writing and communication skills ● Team player; we are a very dynamic and team-oriented office Nice to Have ● Previous work in a customer service role ● Personal travel experience ● Experience with Axus, Clientbase, booking engines/GDS Day-to-day ● This position is based in our headquarters in McLean, VA ● Office hours are 9am-5:30pm Eastern, Monday through Friday (remote Monday and Friday, in-office Tuesday through Thursday once training period is completed) ● Work in a highly connected community of travel industry professionals ● Professional development and learning opportunities ● Engaging discussions about travel, destinations, experiences ● Opportunities for career growth within the travel sector
