Apply Now! Travel Consultant (Japan Specialist) The role: At Inside Travel Group, we create thoughtfully designed, tailor-made holidays that deliver exceptional cultural adventures for our clients. As a Travel Consultant, you’ll play a key role in bringing those trips to life by building rapport with customers, understanding their travel goals, and creating personalised itineraries that turn enquiries into bookings. We’re looking for someone who has a proactive sales mindset, is confident in building customer relationships, and is highly organised with excellent time management skills. High performance will be rewarded with sales and customer service-based commission, along with regular familiarisation trips to our destination countries to enhance your knowledge. What you’ll be doing: Responding to customer enquiries and consulting with them to understand their travel aspirations, preferences, and expectations for a high-end holiday experience Crafting exceptional tailor-made itineraries for high-value holidays, designed to inspire clients and convert interest into bookings Collaborating with our bookings team to deliver a seamless, detail-focused service and ensure every trip is executed to the highest standard What we are looking for from you: Sales experience, or a strong ability to build trust with clients, uncover their needs, and convert enquiries into bookings for high-value, tailor-made holidays Genuine excitement and motivation for sales and achieving results, with the drive to build a successful pipeline and convert opportunities into bookings Highly organised and detail-focused, with excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver top-notch service and accuracy Experience living or working in Japan is highly valued, but not essential; what matters most is a genuine interest in Japan as a travel destination We recognise that job adverts can sometimes read like a wish list, and we don’t expect every candidate to tick every box.
