Traveling Solar Installer Full-Time | Travel Required | Residential Solar At SpartanX, we're expanding into new markets—and we're looking for experienced Traveling Solar Installers to help lead the way. This role is perfect for installers who enjoy being on the road, working with different crews, and taking on new challenges. You'll travel to emerging markets, complete high-quality residential solar installations, and help establish successful operations as SpartanX continues to grow. If you're dependable, safety-focused, and take pride in delivering quality work, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Install residential solar PV systems in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications Mount racking systems, solar panels, and balance-of-system components Assist with roof layout, array placement, and system installation Safely transport, stage, and organize materials at job sites Work closely with Electricians, Install Managers, and Project Managers to complete installations efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Identify and report installation challenges to leadership Ensure all work meets company quality standards and local building requirements Represent SpartanX professionally while interacting with homeowners Travel extensively to support new and expanding markets What We're Looking For Previous residential solar installation experience required Strong understanding of rooftop solar installation practices Experience with rail systems, flashings, attachments, and module installation Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders in various weather conditions Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds Strong work ethic and positive attitude Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to travel extensively and work in multiple states Valid driver's license with a clean driving record OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Company-paid travel accommodations Daily per diem while traveling Career advancement opportunities with a rapidly growing national solar company Ongoing training and professional development Supportive team environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork Why SpartanX?
