Most law firms use technology. We build it.
Grape Law is a tech-driven immigration firm based in New York, helping people and companies across the globe move, work, and build their futures in the U.S. We started in Manhattan, grew into a team of 100+, and earned recognition we're genuinely proud of: our first Chambers and Partners ranking.
But what really defines us is how we work. We run on GrapeCase, our own proprietary case management platform, and we treat process and automation as part of the craft, not an afterthought. We write in plain language, move quickly, and obsess over getting the details right.
We are looking for a UK Immigration Case Manager and Client Intake Specialist to join our legal team. This is a client-facing, case-focused role combining UK business immigration case preparation with client intake, lead qualification, information gathering, and onboarding.
You will manage immigration matters under the supervision of our attorneys, communicate directly with prospective and existing clients, conduct initial client interviews where appropriate, and help move cases forward from the first inquiry through completion.
This role is remote and follows New York time zone working hours.
What you'll do
- Manage a portfolio of UK business immigration cases from initiation through completion, working under the supervision of attorneys.
- Respond to prospective client inquiries in a timely and professional manner and conduct initial intake calls and client interviews in English and Turkish, where appropriate.
- Prepare, assemble, and review UK immigration application forms and supporting evidence, including case summaries, document checklists, letters, timelines, and other client documentation for attorney review.
- Coordinate document collection, verify client and business information, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure that case files are complete, accurate, and properly organized.
- Track case deadlines, application submission windows, visa and permission expiry dates, Home Office requests, biometric appointments, and other key milestones to keep matters progressing.
- Coordinate responses to Home Office requests and other case-related follow-up under attorney direction.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the case, provide status updates, and ensure that outstanding tasks and deadlines are followed up on promptly.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in law is preferred.
- Previous experience in UK business immigration, case management, paralegal work, legal services, client intake, or a related professional services environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with UK business immigration processes and application procedures, particularly sponsored work and business immigration matters, is an advantage. Candidates with strong transferable experience and the ability to learn technical processes quickly will also be considered.
- Experience conducting client intake calls or interviews, qualifying prospective clients, gathering information, following up on outstanding items, or supporting client onboarding is preferred.
- Confidence communicating directly with prospective and existing clients, asking structured questions, gathering detailed information, and explaining process requirements and next steps clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, disciplined follow-up habits, and the ability to manage multiple cases, prospective clients, and competing deadlines.
- Ability to review information and documentation carefully, identify missing or inconsistent details, and escalate legal or complex issues to the supervising attorney.
- Comfort working with case management systems, CRMs, document management tools, and online communication platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset, strong ownership of assigned tasks, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
How we work
Great outcomes come from great teams, and we actually mean it. Grape Law is young, fast, and genuinely collaborative: we share what we know, ask good questions, and give everyone a real voice regardless of seniority. We work hard, we celebrate the wins together, and we'd always rather hear a fresh idea than "that's how it's always been done."
If you're an experienced case manager or paralegal who wants your work to matter, for your clients and for the firm you're helping build, we'd love to meet you. Apply today.
