UK Sustainability & Social Value Engagement Officer

Operations Performance: Management of projects, quality, and industrial performance. We are present in seven countries (France, Spain, Belgium, the UK, Germany, the USA and Canada). Responsibilities: Support the delivery and continuous improvement of the client's UK Sustainability Strategy and associated implementation roadmap. Coordinate sustainability and social value initiatives across multiple business functions, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement. Develop high-quality sustainability communications, presentations, reports, briefing packs and awareness materials. Plan, organise and facilitate sustainability meetings, workshops and engagement events. Maintain sustainability action trackers, governance documentation and project status reports. Coordinate Sustainability Networks, ambassador programmes and employee engagement communities. Support the planning and delivery of Social Value programmes, employee volunteering initiatives and community engagement activities. Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring effective collaboration between operational teams and central sustainability functions. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or blockers, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Create and maintain sustainability documentation, knowledge repositories and document management systems. Support the development and deployment of sustainability awareness campaigns and training programmes. Produce meeting minutes, action logs and governance reporting to support programme delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sustainability processes, communication and collaboration across the organisation. Support compliance with sustainability objectives and contribute to the successful delivery of corporate ESG commitments. Degree qualified in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, Business Management or a related discipline. Previous experience working within Sustainability, ESG, Environmental Management, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Social Value programmes. Experience coordinating projects or working within Project Management or PMO environments. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple business functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience producing reports, presentations and communication materials. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities. Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
