This role requires solution expertise, attention to detail, and a consultative approach to supporting clients through complex HR and payroll system decisions. This is a full-time, remote position (40 hours per week). Responsibilities Implementation, Payroll & HR Configuration Configure UKG Pro modules with a strong focus on Payroll, Core HR, and related processes. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for Payroll and HR modules. Assist with data validation and reconciliation efforts to ensure payroll and HR data integrity. Client Engagement & Support Participate in discovery sessions and working meetings focused on payroll and HR requirements. Clearly explain payroll calculations, HR workflows, and system behavior to client stakeholders. Provide guidance on UKG Pro capabilities, limitations, and best-practice recommendations. Build strong, professional relationships through consistent and responsive communication. Project Collaboration & Scope Awareness Partner with Project Managers and senior consultants to support project planning and delivery. Track assigned work and hours in alignment with project plans and Statements of Work (SOW). Proactively communicate scope questions, payroll risks, or timeline concerns to the Project Manager or Oversight resource. Support deployment and go-live readiness activities. Professional Development & Team Contribution Continue to expand Payroll and HR domain knowledge within UKG Pro. Demonstrate consistency in responsiveness, accountability, and delivery quality. Contribute to internal initiatives and external thought leadership, including the HRchitect Tech Trends Blog. Project Delivery, Utilization & Quality Deliver high-quality implementation work efficiently and in alignment with approved project plans and Statements of Work (SOW). Demonstrate effective utilization by balancing billable contributions with strong delivery outcomes, configuration accuracy, and client satisfaction. Manage assigned work to support on-time delivery while minimizing rework and downstream impacts. Accurately track time and effort in accordance with HRchitect standards and project requirements. Proactively communicate scope questions, delivery risks, or effort variances to support proactive project management. Apply sound judgment to prioritize work in a way that supports both project success and overall practice health. Professional Accountability & Performance Expectations Maintain a consistent level of billable contribution aligned with role expectations and project assignments. Participate in ongoing feedback and performance discussions related to delivery effectiveness, utilization, and quality outcomes. Maintain targeted billable utilization by actively contributing to client engagements, managing workload effectively, and supporting overall services delivery goals. Qualifications Required Previous hands-on experience with UKG Pro. 3+ years of experience in a SaaS or consulting environment. Working knowledge of Payroll and Core HR business processes. Experience supporting payroll testing, validation, or parallel payroll activities. Strong attention to detail with a proven record of configuration accuracy. Excellent communication skills, including comfort leading or participating in video-based client meetings. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with delivery teams. Ability to work remotely from a home office within North America. Preferred Current Certifications in UKG Pro Payroll and/or Core HR modules. Exposure to benefits, time management, or talent modules. Payroll or HR certifications (FPC, CPP, HRIP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, PMP). Experience supporting multi-module or enterprise implementations.
