Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Ukrainian to English Interpreter. The interpreter will provide accurate, timely, and confidential interpretation between Ukrainian and English during virtual calls and online meetings, primarily in customer service, business, and professional contexts. Daily tasks include listening carefully to speakers, conveying messages faithfully in the target language, and clarifying meaning when needed while maintaining neutrality and professionalism. The role involves following client-specific guidelines, documenting session details as required, and collaborating with coordinators and other team members to ensure consistent service quality. The interpreter will also participate in periodic training and performance reviews to stay current with best practices and industry standards.
Qualifications

• Strong Ukrainian and English language proficiency, including excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
• Professional interpreting skills, such as consecutive interpretation, note-taking, and accurate meaning transfer without omission or addition.
• Knowledge of relevant terminology and contexts (e.g., customer service, business, medical, and legal settings) or willingness to learn and specialize.
• Ability to manage calls in a remote environment, including reliable internet access, a quiet workspace, and familiarity with common call center and communication tools.
• High level of professionalism, cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical standards in all interactions.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Previous experience as an interpreter, translator, or language specialist is preferred; certification or formal training in interpreting is an advantage.
• Ability to participate in ongoing training and feedback processes, adapt to new procedures, and work effectively with a diverse, global team.
