Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Ukrainian to English Interpreter. The interpreter will provide real-time, accurate, and culturally sensitive interpretation between Ukrainian and English during virtual calls and online meetings, primarily for medical, legal, and business contexts. Daily tasks include listening and interpreting spoken communication, clarifying meaning and terminology, and maintaining confidentiality and neutrality in all interactions. The role also involves preparing for assignments by reviewing relevant materials, using call center tools and software, documenting key information when required, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to ensure service quality. The interpreter is expected to follow established protocols, adhere to industry standards, and participate in training and performance feedback sessions.
Qualifications

• Strong Ukrainian and English language proficiency, including excellent grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension in both languages.
• Demonstrated interpreting skills in consecutive or simultaneous interpretation, with the ability to render messages accurately and completely.
• Good understanding of terminology and concepts in medical, legal, and general business settings, or willingness to learn and specialize.
• Solid active listening, note-taking, and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under time pressure.
• Comfort with remote work tools, call center platforms, and basic IT skills, including stable internet connection and suitable home workspace.
• High level of ethical awareness, including respect for confidentiality, impartiality, and non-discriminatory conduct with diverse populations.
• Prior experience as an interpreter, translator, or language specialist is preferred; relevant certifications or training in interpretation are an advantage.
• Availability to work full-time, flexibility to cover different time zones if needed, and openness to ongoing training and performance development.
