Description STORE Capital Advisors, LLC is seeking an Underwriter to join our Credit Underwriting team. How you will contribute to STORE’s mission: The Underwriter is part of STORE’s Credit Underwriting team responsible for analyzing and underwriting new investments and transactions for inclusion into STORE’s $18 billion portfolio. The Underwriter has exceptional quantitative and financial analytical skills, strong organizational and communication skills, and good attention to detail. What Will Make You Successful (Qualifications) Minimum of 2 years experience in analyzing financial statements of middle market businesses required. Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, and or related field. Ability to understand and interpret sophisticated corporate financial concepts, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements. Ability to think critically, prepare financial analysis and determine the creditworthiness of a company as a tenant. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Self-starter with the capacity to work independently while possessing a team attitude and willingness to learn. Effective at time and task management. Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize and deliver quality work under pressure. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or curriculum encouraged. What Most Days Will Include (Primary Duties) Responsible for evaluating investments, assessing key areas of risks and conformance with STORE credit standards and program requirements. Responsible for underwriting, negotiating and managing single-tenant-net-lease exposure across the United States, which includes the preparation of detailed investment memoranda and presentation materials to Senior Management. Analysis of property level and corporate financial statements for STORE’s prospective and existing customers. Form and communicate investment theses as well as strategies to mitigate any risks across tenants and industries. Work closely with Acquisitions, Closing, Real Estate, Special Servicing and Accounting teams. Perform other duties and projects assigned by Senior Vice President, Credit Underwriting.
