We’re looking for an Underwriter, War & Terrorism Based remotely or from one of our offices located in Richmond, Virginia or Miami and reporting to the Head of War & Terrorism, you’ll work alongside our established and successful US network Terrorism team to execute the class strategy, contribute to the production of the business plan, and attract and underwrite War & Terror business. As an active member of this well-established team, alongside other experienced members of the team, be responsible for mentoring and developing more junior team members. What you will help us do Contribute towards the War & Terror Underwriting Strategy Reporting on, and communication of underwriting activities to senior management Monitor statistics, aggregates, probable maximum loss and claims Development of business opportunities in the USA Meeting with clients in the USA The management of relationships with brokers within the War & Terror market Where appropriate, be called upon to represent the Company at various market meetings, conferences and committees. Underwrite, in accordance with the business plan.
