Unified Communications VOIP Engineer - Government Radio Systems

MCS is hiring a Unified Communications VoIP engineer with a background in Military radio’s. This is a full-time, remote, permanent position with benefits. This position requires a secret security clearance and requires travel. The UC VoIP Engineer must be able to demonstrate the ability to install and maintain a SIP based VoIP platform at Government facilities worldwide. Also, the position requires knowledge of the commonly used government radios LMR’s, PRC-117G, APX7500/8500, and CM300/350. This Position is REMOTE, with Travel 25% and up to 35% at times 1. Install and maintain Mitel Unify OpenScape Voice, a SIP based VoIP platform at Government facilities worldwide. A. User and Device configuration B. Network configuration including IP addressing, VLANs, Domains C. Server installation and setup; iDRAC; D. Image setup, configuration, and updates E. License activation and management F. SIP Trunk configuration – Cisco CUBE, Cisco Dial Peers; Understand SIP trunk configuration. G. Security configuration, hardening, FIP’s, STIGs. 2. Integrate the Mitel Unify Xpert Application to government provided radio's. Engineer must have a knowledge of commonly used government radios. 4. Virtualization administration using VMware vSphere/ESXi and RedHat KVM. 5. Linux management for MCS provided applications (SUSE, Debian, & Ubuntu). 6. Configure network settings (IP, VLANs, Domains, etc). Applicant must have: 1. Security Clearance - Secret 2. Government Radio experience - LMR’s, PRC-117G, APX7500/8500, and CM300/3500 3. VoIP experience – Cisco, Unify/Mitel 4. Linux experience (SUSE, Debian, and Ubuntu) 5.
