Role Title: Principal Learning and Development Officer (PLO) Role Nature: Volunteer Location: Home-based The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is an international think-tank supporting and advocating the application of blockchain technology in the global fight against climate change. We are seeking dedicated volunteers who bring a strategic mindset to their work, foster strong professional relationships, and cultivate growth opportunities for the organization. As a key member of the Learning & Development Officer (LO) Grade, the Principal Learning and Development Officer will provide support to the Directorship in the Capacity Building Division. This is an unpaid voluntary role, as with all positions at BCI. Responsibilities: Lead and support the identification of learning and training needs across the Institute. Lead the curation and/or creation of learning and training opportunities for volunteers. Lead the design and delivery of training initiatives to address identified needs within the skills and competencies framework. Administer evaluations to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of current and future learning and training sessions, courses, and resources. Ensure regular administrative support for learning and development functions. Lead the coordination of BCI learning and training sessions. Support general resource management duties.
