We’re Hiring: Upwork Specialist — Remote

COVA Apps is looking for an experienced Upwork Specialist with 3–4 years of proven experience to manage our Upwork business-development activities and help us secure high-quality software and ecommerce projects.

This is a long-term remote opportunity for someone who understands how to find the right jobs, write personalised proposals, start meaningful conversations and convert qualified leads into meetings and contracts.

Your responsibilities

• Search for relevant and profitable Upwork opportunities
• Analyse job requirements, client history, budget and hiring activity
• Write personalised, high-converting proposals
• Manage bidding activities and proposal strategy
• Communicate professionally with potential clients
• Respond quickly to messages and interview invitations
• Qualify leads and arrange discovery meetings
• Follow up with interested prospects
• Maintain accurate records of proposals, replies and outcomes
• Improve the profile, portfolio and bidding strategy based on performance data

What we’re looking for

• 3–4 years of Upwork bidding and business-development experience
• Strong understanding of software, Shopify, SaaS, web and mobile projects
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Ability to write human, customised proposals—not copied templates
• Experience generating replies, interviews, meetings and contracts
• Strong research, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet performance targets
• Previous results or proof of successful Upwork projects are strongly preferred
