OUND Our client is a U.S.-based accounting firm dedicated to helping small businesses stay financially organized through accurate bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, and advisory services. Their client portfolio spans a variety of industries, including restaurants, e-commerce businesses, real estate, and professional service f
irms.
As the firm continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper who can confidently take ownership of approximately 18 recurring bookkeeping clients while supporting annual cleanup projects and tax season preparation. Their workflows are already well documented and standardized, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional bookkeeping rather than building processes from scratch. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, solve problems proactively, and require minimal superv
ision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIL
- ITIES: Manage the full bookkeeping cycle for multiple client ac
- counts.Perform month-end bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statement prepa
- ration.Perform payroll reconci
- liationComplete catch-up and cleanup bookkeeping projects as
- needed.Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online Ad
- vanced.Utilize Double to support bookkeeping workflows and documen
- tation.Assist with annual cleanup engagements and provide bookkeeping support during tax
- season.Prepare and file Florida Sales Tax returns after appropriate tr
- aining.Communicate proactively regarding outstanding items, pending work, and bookkeeping
- issues.Research bookkeeping questions independently and resolve technical issues before esca
- lating.Assist with administrative tasks including new client setup, onboarding activities, and document prepa
- ration.Support additional operational projects that contribute to the firm's continued
- growth.Handle other assigned tasks as needed to support the team’s wo
rkflow.
QUALIFI
- CATIONS Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a relate
- d field.Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience within a U.S. accounti
- ng firm.Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online and QBO Advanced Certification is r
- equired.Experience using Double or similar workflow management software is an ad
- vantage.Experience managing multiple client accounts simulta
- neously.Restaurant bookkeeping experience is preferred but not r
- equired.Previous Sales Tax experience is
- a plus.Strong written communication
