About The Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate User Experience (UX) Designer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid position, based in Madison, WI, offers a unique opportunity to influence the design and usability of cutting-edge healthcare software solutions. As a UX Designer at EnsoData, you will be responsible for understanding user needs—both clinicians and developers—and translating those insights into compelling, user-centered designs for web and mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to create intuitive workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our products are not only functional but also accessible, engaging, and aligned with industry best practices. From initial research and ideation to usability testing and design system development, you will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare technology through innovative design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, computer science, marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of UX projects and design solutions
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, React, React Native, and Material UI
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for collaboration with development teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
• Experience or familiarity with AI tools in the design process is a plus
• Healthcare technology experience and UX design certification are advantageous
• Location in Wisconsin or the Midwest US preferred; candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to identify workflow needs and pain points of end-users
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with customers, product managers, and developers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals
• Perform usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs for continuous improvement
• Develop, maintain, and update design systems and style guidelines to ensure consistency across products
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance design strategies
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, clearly communicating design decisions
• Support the integration of AI tools into the design workflow to improve efficiency and quality
• Participate in cross-disciplinary team discussions to align on product vision and user experience goals
