Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Utility Management Lead to join our team in Southeast US. In this position, you will lead a team of utility coordinators and oversee utility management process for our roadway and other infrastructure improvement projects. Your team will perform technical and coordination activities to identify existing utility locations, identify potential conflicts, support avoidance activities and when needed support adjustments, relocations, and new installations that may be needed in conjunction with transportation projects. You may personally oversee coordination on key projects as well as support your team on multiple utility coordination projects and coordinate with transportation design teams on the locations and potential impacts on utilities. This position offers the ability to work from home with the potential need to report to the Atlanta office up to once per month. Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications : Associates or relevant technical degree 15 or more years of experience in utility coordination or related fields Key Attributes : Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Thorough understanding of Georgia DOT’s Utility Accommodation Policy and Standards Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Experience with utility coordination on GDOT or local County projects Why Arcadis?
