UX Copy Writer Specialist

We provide secure online remittance services to customers in 29 countries across the UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia, enabling cross-border money transfers to 100+ countries worldwide Abou the role: We're looking for a Copywriter who owns the words inside our app. You'll make specific, measurable UX alterations to real flows — the copy that helps someone verify their identity, send their first transfer, understand a fee, or recover from an error. This is a product-first writing role: you'll spot where wording is causing friction, propose tighter alternatives, test them, and ship. You'll also carry that same voice into our wider marketing. What you'll do Own the copy inside the app: write and iterate UX microcopy for specific flows — sign-up and KYC/verification, the send-money flow, recipient management, transaction and payment status, fee and rate displays, error and empty states, and push/in-app notifications. Propose specific UX alterations backed by evidence — pinpointing screens where wording drives drop-off, confusion or support tickets, and shipping clearer, more confident alternatives. Partner with product managers and designers to write copy for new features and to define A/B test variations, then read the impact on conversion, completion and comprehension. Keep language plain, consistent and compliant across every screen, in a way that works for a multilingual, multicultural audience. Extend that voice into marketing: performance ads, landing pages, email, blog/SEO, app store listings, and campaign messaging for corridor launches, promotions and seasonal peaks (Eid, Diwali, Christmas). Work with Compliance so every financial promotion is clear, fair and not misleading, within FCA guidelines. Maintain and evolve our tone-of-voice guidelines and copy library. What you'll bring [2–4]+ years of copywriting experience, with proven UX/product writing in a mobile-first product. A portfolio showing before/after UX copy changes and the impact they had — not just marketing samples. Exceptional written English and a sharp eye for grammar, clarity and detail. The ability to write plainly about money, fees and financial concepts without jargon. Comfort working at pace across multiple products and markets, and taking feedback well. An instinct for how tone shifts across cultures and audiences. Nice to have Experience writing regulated financial or payments copy (familiarity with FCA financial promotions rules). SEO copywriting experience: a dditional languages relevant to our corridors (e.g. Urdu, Bengali, Hindi, French, Arabic, Spanish). Understanding of the remittance or migrant/diaspora customer.
