Primary Job Function/Mission The VPDM is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans, adapting value propositions, and collaborating with cohorts and decision-makers to ensure alignment with market drivers in our Oncological TAs in solid tumors. They lead systematic updates and training, address barriers through targeted action plans, and continuously monitor and refine processes to drive success. Additionally, they co-lead launch readiness and sophisticated engagement strategies, managing KPIs and fostering cross-functional teamwork to maximize portfolio impact. Responsibilities As Brand Team Member (Elahere) - A. Integrated Systems (IS) Accountability: designing the strategic plan for influencing and intervening over cohorts’ managers and Value Proposition (VP) adaptation to market value drivers into the IS. B. Updating and training the IFT: VPDM is responsible for keeping the content up-to-date and ensuring systematic training for the IFT, adapting to changes and needs identified by the STH. C. Leader of Barrier management plan : Identification and classification of barriers (operational, regulatory, technological, patient, etc.). Define a person/action responsible for each barrier. Propose and document corrective actions with defined timelines. Use decision-making meetings to validate/adjust and ensure alignment of stakeholders. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of the plan based on the observed impact. And D. Co-leading the launch readiness strategy (mapping/ intervening/ activating/ training internally & externally) Systematic Hypercare exercise with PSP : Form a multidisciplinary Hypercare team with clear roles. Frequent monitoring (daily/weekly) of PSP KPIs: access, adherence, satisfaction, incidents. Recording and mapping of detected barriers. Activation of rapid action plans for deviations, with direct communication between PSP, KDM, and Brand Team. Leader of Strategy for HMOs and engagement with decision-makers : Define tactical approach for HMOs (health management organization) based on STH prioritization/doctrine. Engage with decision-makers under strategic planning and on demand, adjusting the message and value proposition to address specific barriers and facilitate implementation. As Brand Team Member with geographical accountability in COL & NES : Responsible for the value proposals integration with cluster leaders related to onco therapeutic areas over all aspects associated with product advocacy and differentiation. Position Accountability / Scope Internally with Affiliate leadership team, other members of the Marker Access team (as pricing and innovation), Government Affairs and other relevant cross-function support functions. Regionally with area and regional market access leads. Externally with trade associations and 3rd party groups to support AbbVie positions. Education Business Administrator, Economist, Health Professional or Industrial Engineer. Highly desirable master’s in Public Health Administration, Health Economics, MBA and/or similar fields. Must be fluent in English (oral/written). Experience / Training Required Minimum of five years’ experience on Oncologic TA in market access, commercial, government affairs, public affairs or public policy in pharmaceutical and/or health care industry and/or trade association and/or government agencies including relevant experience in health care, with some experience with the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, as well as an remarkable understanding of how Health Ecosystems work and Key Decision Makers and Governments make decisions, and what types of input can help shape those decisions. Candidate must possess strong analytical, critical thinking and interpersonal skills, the ability to speak and write persuasively and with clarity, strong organizational skills, flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements, resourcefulness and creativity, strong attention to detail, a proven track record of being able to work under deadlines and an ability to work collaboratively in a fluid organizational environment. Must be an individual who works well in a team environment and enjoys working in a collegial, yet highly demanding culture. Must be able to work collaboratively with business leaders and other internal stakeholders. Experience and ability in matrix and project management. Should possess a high degree of strategic thinking, decision-making, and tactical skills to develop broad strategy and policy options, and recommendations to address issues expeditiously. Capacity to act independently and demonstrate sound business judgment within the scope of assigned projects and activities.
