Vice President, Costing Optimization and Raw Material Management

Overview The Vice President, Costing Optimization and Raw Material management is responsible for establishing and leading Crocs' global raw materials, costing, and value engineering strategy across all product categories and sourcing regions. Based in Hong Kong/ Singapore/ Shenzhen, this executive will partner closely with Product Creation, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain leaders to drive material innovation, cost competitiveness, margin expansion, and supply resilience. This role serves as a critical member of the Global Product Supply leadership team and will influence enterprise-wide decisions that support sustainable growth, profitability, and product excellence. What You'll Do Responsible for looking at product cost end-to-end to maximize profitability and unlock key capabilities in the raw material space to enable critical Crocs Inc strategies. Develop and execute a global raw materials strategy that balances innovation, quality, sustainability, supply continuity, and cost competitiveness across the Crocs portfolio. Partner with sourcing & product teams to create and maintain a library of standard materials for use in footwear designs / constructions. Build a pool of competitive materials suppliers and tier 2 partners that enables effective product designs while balancing cost competitiveness and having a broad assortment of materials & suppliers to deliver innovative products. Create and maintain a nominated supplier list. Lead enterprise costing strategies and governance processes to deliver margin expansion while maintaining product integrity and consumer value. Partner with Product Creation, Design, Development, and Sourcing teams to identify value engineering opportunities throughout the product lifecycle. Partner with Third Party Consulting companies and be the lead for Costing Transformation and Optimization projects Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with material suppliers, chemical partners, and manufacturing vendors to secure long-term capacity, innovation, and cost advantages. Drive transparency and standardization of costing methodologies, material benchmarking, and commodity risk management across all sourcing regions. Anticipate market, commodity, and geopolitical trends and proactively develop mitigation strategies that protect supply continuity and financial performance. Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing global team while fostering collaboration across regional and functional organizations. Champion continuous improvement, digital tools, analytics, and data-driven decision-making to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability across materials and costing functions. What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Science, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within raw materials, product supply, sourcing, manufacturing, costing, or related functions within Footwear or Apparel industry Deep expertise in materials procurement, material innovation, product costing, value engineering, and global supply chain economics. Demonstrated success leading large-scale global teams and influencing executive stakeholders across complex matrix organizations. Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive profitable growth through cost optimization and strategic supplier partnerships. Experience operating across Asia manufacturing ecosystems with a strong understanding of global sourcing, supplier development, and risk management. Exceptional analytical, negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills. Proven ability to lead through change, build organizational capability, and deliver results in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
