The Vertical Industry Leader is responsible for providing strategic direction, operational excellence, and innovative growth within a specific industry vertical. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, this leader will drive client relationships, deliver superior service with a focus on specialization and operational excellence, and expand global/regional programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, proven leadership in RPO and MSP delivery, and a strong track record of managing enterprise-level, multi-location clients. This role emphasizes client-centricity, industry thought leadership, and superior delivery to enhance Randstad Sourceright’s position as a global market leader. Key responsibilities of the role include industry expertise and strategy development, exceptional service delivery and vertical expansion, innovation and thought leadership, global collaboration and management, financial management, and where appropriate, country management. The role holder will have proven experience in a senior leadership role with expertise in strategy development and financial management, and the ability to manage global and/or multi-country teams. . Drives transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency that impacts own market and foster a high performance culture in a commercial context • Takes ownership of budget management, revenues and profitability, ensuring financial targets are met for own market. • Drives the optimization of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Frameworks and reporting processes to continuously align with broader business performance goals • Defines market strategies based on market needs, requirements and the regulatory environment, leveraging financial, client and operational insights • Drives the strategic planning process, including annual strategy planning and quarterly business reviews to ensure business profitability and market competitiveness, with high-level guidance from more senior management • Leads periodical reviews of operational policies and processes to ensure alignment with market and regional / global requirements Grade Descriptor • Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles in multiple disciplines as well as business and commercial expertise to differentiate the organization from the competition • Provides leadership and direction for a large sub-function/business segment through managers, exercising control over a sizeable portion of the business segment/region's resources • Has accountability for the performance, execution of strategy and results achievement of a large sub-function/business segment, often leading one or more areas that cut across regions or have a global reach • Contributes to and executes business segment strategy (short term and long term) to achieve key business objectives; sits on the leadership team (at functional/business segment/regional level) • Evaluates key business challenges; directs the development of new or innovative solutions • Decisions are guided by the organization and business strategy and objectives Is this the job for you?
