About TELCOR Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska with an office in San Francisco, California, TELCOR is a proven leader in healthcare software, delivering Point of Care (POC) middleware, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) software, RCM managed billing services, and AI-driven solutions to hospitals, health systems, and independent laboratories nationwide. TELCOR is Great Place to Work Certified®, and our core values — integrity, innovation, dedication, acceptance, passion, and collaboration — guide how we build products and work with one another. As TELCOR enters an accelerated growth phase, our Marketing organization plays a central role in building the brand, sharpening our market position, and fueling the systems that scale the business. Position Summary The Vice President of Corporate Communications is a key leadership role within TELCOR's Marketing organization, responsible for building and protecting the TELCOR brand as the company enters its next phase of accelerated growth. This role owns the strategy and execution across content marketing, media relations and PR, analyst relations, event marketing, internal communications, and social marketing. The VP will develop a unified voice for TELCOR in the healthcare technology, laboratory, and revenue cycle management markets, elevate the company's visibility among customers, prospects, industry analysts, and the media, and ensure employees across the organization stay informed and aligned as TELCOR scales. This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. Key Responsibilities Content Marketing Set the strategy and editorial calendar for TELCOR's thought leadership, blog, case studies, white papers, and other content that positions TELCOR as the authority in POC, RCM, and healthcare AI. Ensure content speaks credibly to TELCOR's core audiences — hospital and health system leaders, independent lab executives, and revenue cycle decision-makers. Partner with Product Marketing to translate product and solution positioning into compelling narrative content. Establish content governance, brand voice guidelines, and quality standards across the organization. Media Relations / PR Build and manage relationships with healthcare IT, laboratory, and business press and trade publications. Develop and execute a proactive PR strategy, including press releases, media pitches, bylines, and executive visibility campaigns. Serve as a company spokesperson and prepare other executives for media interviews and public appearances. Manage a crisis communications plan and act as the lead for reputation management issues. Analyst Relations Build and maintain relationships with healthcare IT industry analysts and research firms relevant to TELCOR's markets. Own the strategy for briefings, inquiries, and analyst report inclusion (e.g., market landscape and vendor evaluation reports). Coordinate analyst input into product roadmap and go-to-market messaging, in partnership with Product and Sales leadership. Event Marketing Set the strategy for TELCOR's presence at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events, prioritizing investments that build brand and pipeline. Oversee planning and execution of flagship events, from customer conferences to executive roundtables and sponsorships. Partner with Sales and Demand Generation to ensure events convert to qualified pipeline and measurable ROI. Internal Communications Develop a company-wide internal communications strategy that keeps employees informed, engaged, and aligned with TELCOR's growth strategy and culture. Partner with executive leadership and HR on messaging for major company announcements, town halls, and change management initiatives. Establish consistent internal communication channels and cadences across a growing, geographically distributed workforce. Social Marketing Own TELCOR's corporate social media strategy and presence, including channel selection, voice, and content calendar. Grow brand awareness and engagement among healthcare and laboratory decision-makers on relevant social platforms. Develop an employee advocacy and executive thought-leadership program to extend organic reach. Qualifications Required 20+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or brand marketing, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience building and leading integrated communications programs spanning PR, content, social, and events, ideally in B2B technology or healthcare. Strong media relationships and a track record of securing high-quality earned media coverage. Excellent written, verbal, and executive-presence communication skills, including experience preparing executives for public-facing moments. Experience building and leading high-performing teams through periods of organizational growth. Preferred Experience in healthcare IT, laboratory diagnostics, revenue cycle management, or adjacent regulated industries. Experience with industry analyst relationships (e.g., KLAS, Gartner, or similar healthcare IT research firms). Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field; advanced degree a plus. Work Environment This role requires the ability to work in an office and/or hybrid environment, with occasional travel (up to 25%) for industry conferences, customer events, and company meetings. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. There may be times when the position requires work outside of the regularly established hours. SALARY/WAGE ASSIGNMENT Executive Management determines salary and wage assignment on an individual basis.
