Role Description

The Vice President of Finance is a full-time, remote leadership role serving as the senior financial leader for the hospital, responsible for financial strategy, operational performance, revenue optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial sustainability. This executive partners closely with the CEO, COO, Chief Nursing Officer, and Chief Medical Officer to drive strategic growth while ensuring exceptional financial stewardship.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in acute care hospital finance, understands reimbursement complexities, and has successfully led financial transformation through analytics and automation driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance, including experience leading finance functions within an acute hospital setting, required

• Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and forecasting to support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Ability to prepare, interpret, and present Financial Statements and related documentation to executive stakeholders

• Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Proven leadership experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Comfort with remote work, including effective communication, time management, and collaboration in virtual environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.

• High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to inclusive, equitable workplace practices.
