Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Planning is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading the hospital’s long-term strategic vision and growth initiatives. This role involves analyzing market trends and healthcare industry developments, identifying opportunities for service expansion, and aligning strategic priorities with organizational goals. The VP will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine business plans, support budgeting and financial forecasting related to strategic projects, and monitor key performance indicators. Day-to-day activities include coordinating cross-functional planning meetings, preparing executive reports and presentations, and advising on strategic partnerships and alliances. The role also requires ensuring that strategic plans support high-quality, patient-centered care and contribute to the hospital’s educational and research missions.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Strategic Planning and Business Planning to guide organizational direction and growth.
• Strong Analytical Skills supported by experience in Market Research for evaluating trends, competition, and service opportunities.
• Solid understanding of Finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for strategic initiatives.
• Proven experience in healthcare or related sectors, with familiarity in hospital operations and regulatory environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects and driving measurable outcomes.
• Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Public Policy, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
