Vice President - Portfolio Analytics & Reporting, PFS (GP LP Solutions – PEP funds)

About this role BlackRock's Private Financing Solutions division ("PFS") is currently seeking a Vice President level candidate to join our Portfolio Analytics & Reporting team to focus on our Private Equity platform. The Portfolio Analytics & Reporting team is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of performance reporting and risk metrics both internally to portfolio managers and externally to investors. The team works closely with Product Specialist, Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, Operations and Valuation teams. Responsibilities Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Lead and manage a team of talented professionals to deliver high-quality client reporting outputs within our global Private Equity team. Operate as a subject matter expert, directly supporting complicated client inquiries, providing team and deliverables oversight, including the review of quarterly reporting deliverables, investor reports, and regulatory submissions. Mentor, coach, and further develop team members to support our high-performing and growth-oriented team culture. Monitor, track and analyze performance at the investment, portfolio and fund level. Create and update client portfolio reports (monthly/quarterly/ ad hoc); prepare ongoing and ad hoc investor data requests, fund performance queries and reports, while collaborating with Valuation, Fund Accounting and Investor Relations teams. Ensure the on-going quality and accuracy of performance reporting, maintain the integrity of internal processes and databases used to track key performance and investment metrics at the investment, and portfolio levels including industry, sector, country, investment type, market cap, leverage, and regional exposures, etc. Assist in the operational due diligence of existing and potential new investors Coordinate and interact with investor relations, compliance, portfolio managers, and operations around new product launches, servicing clients, and delivering custom requests Candidate Profile Bachelors degree in relevant field (Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc) 8+ years of relevant portfolio analytics experience, preferably within the alternative asset management industry (Private Credit, Private Equity, Hedge, etc) A strong understanding of private equity and financial markets Strong knowledge of accounting and finance Fluency in written and spoken English is essential Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and process management skills Exceptionally strong excel skills A demonstrated strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative, small team environment eFront Invest knowledge is a plus Python and SQL knowledge is a plus Our benefits To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.
